There is no prerequisite marathon swimming experience required to become a member of the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame. Members come from nearly every profession, race, religion and creed – and include fans, parents, coaches, officials, swimmers and media representatives. But they all share one common bond: their love and respect for the sport of marathon swimming and its athletes.
